Scrooge quickly became upset when he realized where the Spirit was taking him.
It was the worst moment of his life; when his wife left him.
“You are no longer the man I once loved,” she told him.
“Only money matters in your eyes now. I can't bear it any longer. Farewell!
”Shocked, Scrooge cried, “Enough, it's too painful. Let's go home!”
