9. The Moon











The moon shines in the sky at night.
It is silvery in colour.
Sometimes it is big and round like a ball.
Sometimes it is like a semi-circle.
On some nights we do not see the moon at all.
The moon looks very beautiful in the sky with stars all around it.
It is very far away from the earth.
In some fairy-tales they say that a rabbit lives on the moon!
